Hi, we’re the Bartsch Family:  Jeff, Chantel (your author here), and Levi. We also have a friendly, lovable German Shepherd named Saint. We live in Los Angeles, where Jeff edits TV while Chantel and Levi spend the bulk of their time indulging Levi’s obsession with machines that fly or move on wheels.

My hope in sharing our adoption journey is to educate and inform others on the process; to share the joys and pains, the anticipation and anxiety, the highs and lows; to share our story and hopefully take away some of the mystery surrounding adoption.

And if you’re considering expanding your family through adoption, to perhaps give you some hope for your story too.
